Webelos Adventure College, Saturday, November 3, 2018, 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM at Scofield Magnet Middle School, 641 Scofieldtown Rd., Stamford, CT 06903. Join us for Powahay’s 8th Annual Webelos College Pins: Art Explosion, Adventure in Science, Aware & Care, First Responder, Build A Better World, Earth Rocks, Engineer, Game Design, Looking Forward Looking Back, Maestro, Moviemaking. Build A Hero and Sportsmanship. Webelos can sign up for two awards. Online registration is now open.

Our theme this year is Build A Hero from the Build My Own Hero Webelos Activity Pin: The Scout Law can help us face challenges and be heroes in our own communities. Scouts can be heroes too!

This is open to all in Connecticut Yankee Council.

Activities - 2019 Boston Science Museum Posted Sep. 25, 2018
Ever wonder what happens to the Museum at night? The Overnight Program allows students in grades 1 – 7 and their adult chaperones to discover science in an entertaining, educational, and interactive way through hands-on science activities, a Theater of Electricity Lightning show,science demonstrations,an Omni film,time to explore the Museum,and much more. Plus, where else do you have a chance to sleep under a dinosaur or a giant grasshopper?

The Boston Science Museum is a GREAT overnight for Cub Scout Packs to plan on attending! Scouts LOVE sleeping overnight in the museum and the program provided is top notch, add this to your Packs calendar, it is sure to be a hit!

Activities - Fishing Derby 2019 Posted Jul. 31, 2018
Usher in Spring with a morning of fishing at beautiful Deer Lake Scout Reservation in Killingworth. Start with a hearty pancake breakfast and then head to the stocked lagoon to await the start of the derby. Youth only fish from 8-11 am and prizes will be awarded to all who catch their two trout limit by 11 with an additional prize drawing for derby qualifiers. Open to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and their families. Registration deadline is March 29.

The Quinnipiac Dancers, the Council’s Order of the Arrow Native American dancers, can help you with their interpretations of Indian culture through their songs, dance and outfits. We can tailor our performances to your group’s needs.

- Authentic Native American Dance Interpretations.
- Live Native American music.
- Audience participation.
- Handmade outfits depicting modern American Indian pow wow dancers.
- Feathers, bells and beads on flashy colorful outfits.
- All dancers are youth members of our Order of the Arrow Lodge, Owaneco 313.
