The Joe and Ella Mirmina Award

Joe and Ella Mirmina were dedicated Scouters who devoted nearly forty years to the Cub Scout program in the Milford area. They served both Cub units and the district level during this time.

One of their hallmarks was the belief that training and dedication were important factors in the development of a Cub Scout leader and crucial to ensure that a boy received the best possible program.

This award is presented to eligible Cub Leaders by the Wepawaug Valley District in memory of their dedication and devotion.
